 1. How do I choose a prayer room name, username, and password?

Your prayer room name is very important, because it becomes part of the URL, or web address, to your Virtual Prayer Room. Type the name with no spaces. Use your church name, initials and/or city (examples: graceumc, fbccityname, faithcommunity, townepiscopalchurch). Keep in mind that this name is also case sensitive, so if you use capital letters, they become a required part of the URL also.

Your username and password will only be used by the Virtual Prayer Room administrator to access the administrative site. It also needs to be typed with no spaces, and is case sensitive. If you need to change either of these, you may send an email to memberservices@virtualprayerroom.net.

2. When will I be able to see and use my Virtual Prayer Room?

As soon as you sign up, your Virtual Prayer Room becomes active and can be used immediately. We recommend logging on to your administrative tool right away so you can personalize the site with your own church information, pictures and prayer helps.

3. I signed up and then tried to access my Virtual Prayer Room, but I get an error message. What do I do?

Make sure you are typing the URL exactly as you entered it on the signup form including upper and lower case letters. There should no spaces. If you still are having trouble, email memberservices@virtualprayerroom.net.

4. Will I receive confirmation when I sign up?

Yes. You will receive a confirmation email containing your URLs, username and password, as well as simple instructions for how to get started. We recommend that you print this email and keep it for future reference.

5. When do I need to send payment?

You have two weeks to try your Virtual Prayer Room out for free. Please select your payment preference (annual check, quarterly check, or monthly credit card/EFT online payment) and submit within 30 days to prevent any interruption to your service. 6. Do I have to sign a contract?

No. We hope you will find many benefits to your Virtual Prayer Room. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time.

7. What if I try the Virtual Prayer Room, and decide we don't want to use it?

Please contact memberservices@virtualprayerroom.net to let us know you've decided not to continue your service.

8. Why do you need to know "how many churches participating" or "Sunday attendance"?

This is for billing purposes. Your fee is based on a sliding scale that relates to how many people are likely to use the Virtual Prayer Room. See the Rates and Payment link at www.virtualprayerroom.net for information.

9. How will I know how to administrate the Virtual Prayer Room (add content and pictures, etc)?

There is lots of helpful information on the administrative site. And if you need additional help, you can always contact us asmemberservices@virtualprayerroom.net.

10. Will my Virtual Prayer Room be "empty" when I open it for the first time?

No. Your room comes equipped with some nice stock photos and default prayer points and scriptures so the pages will not be blank. You can choose to use this content or clean it off and start creating your own. Either way, you always have access to this and more helpful content ideas in the VPR Pages section of your administrative tool.
